Invitation for Partnership

King David Preschool, Primary School, and High School

Run by the Alliance of Evangelical Churches in Poznań

Way of Life Church Genesis Chrześcijańska Edukacja im. Króla Dawida

Who We Are

The Alliance of Evangelical Churches in Poznań operates the „King David” Non-Public Elementary School and High School, as well as the Preschool “David”. This is not a separate initiative, but an extension of our churches’ mission — through education, we build a missionary community and reach children and entire families with the Gospel.

Our Impact

70%
of our students come from outside the evangelical churches.
0.3%
— the size of the evangelical church community in Poland.

Although the school was founded within an evangelical community, about 70% of the students come from outside these churches. Thanks to this, Christian education is now systematically reaching more families than many congregations have over years of ministry. We believe education is a lasting tool for mission and Christian formation.

Why We’re Looking for Partners

The evangelical church community in Poland is small, and so are the available resources for prayer, financial, and personnel support. In a country dominated by public and Catholic schools, evangelical Christian education needs allies from outside in order to grow without passing the full cost on to students’ families.

How You Can Get Involved

🙏

Prayer

We need many people on their knees, praying for Christian education in Poland and especially for King David School.

💰

Financial support this school year

One-time (e.g., a special offering collected at church) or ongoing (recurring: monthly, quarterly), for the school’s development and scholarships for students whose families cannot afford tuition.

🤝

Personal involvement

Partners who would get personally involved in the school’s operations by serving and participating in the children’s education — e.g., teaching language classes, leading elective courses in a foreign language, and providing spiritual support by leading Bible study groups and support groups for students.

📚

Exchange of experience

Collaboration with partners who are further along in Christian education and can help us implement new solutions. This exchange of experience is invaluable to us.

Urgent Need — Ongoing Funding

As churches, we have decided to take this bold step of seeking partners abroad because, as we mentioned earlier, the evangelical church community in Poland is small — less than 0.3 percent — while the missionary needs that the church fulfills through the school are enormous. Due to unfavorable legal changes regarding non-public education and changes that undermine Christian education in Poland, this matter is exceptionally urgent.

We want our partners to help us operate and grow so that the school can become a self-sustaining organization capable of establishing additional schools in Poland — schools that would impact the lives of thousands of people, enabling entire families to hear about Jesus and have their lives transformed. This, of course, could influence the image of Poland as a whole.

Strategic Need — A Building

The school does not own its own buildings — it rents four buildings from the city and private owners, which increases the associated costs. A significant portion of tuition fees currently goes toward rent rather than toward development and scholarships. We are looking for partners who will help us raise funds to purchase our own school facility.

Owning our own building makes us less dependent on unfavorable legal regulations affecting Christian education. That is why this is a very urgent matter.

Our Vision

Our mission is to bring the Gospel to entire families through Christian education. We want to inspire evangelical churches in Poland to establish Christian schools.

Be our partner in this mission.
